So untill further notice I am officially stuck in a foreign country…cool! Well kinda cool, has never happened before , but if I miss the dog show on Sunday I will be super duper mad at the Portuguese for choosing today to start a strike that canceled ALL international flights!! But on the bright side, I have wifi (free wifi :D), there is a wonderful little Chinese place next door with food to die for, and Diane’s stopped eating soap! <long long story…
While I’m here, I’ll fill the world in on the last few nights of randomness really im just gonna ramble, dont feel bad if you have trouble following this…
I won the bet, took us like forever to get into Grenada I think we passed the turn for our hotel like seven times, and the turns we took weren’t even streets they were like maxi cobblestone sidewalks or something. Driving to Portugal wasn’t that bad, and I was actually surprised that they had like real plants! The only things they grow in Spain are olive trees in the North and Clementine trees in the South. Really im like not kidding, the entire country before the mountains is rows and rows of olive trees, then in the south all the trees are orange/Clementine trees, like even in the city every single tree in Seville I swear had little orange fruit on it. So when I hit Portugal and saw like grass and a variety of trees I was very impressed.
See trees and grass^
Went to Africa I think yesterday, we spent an hour trying to not by a carpet. My dad managed to haggle the price down from 5606 euros to 800 US dollars, I was impressed…but we still didn’t buy it which upset diane because we wasted all our time up stairs with the carpets when she wanted to be downstairs buying boxes.
Oh and there was Achmed, not the dead terrorist puppet, but the guy selling bongs and little camels to the tour group. I think he did the whole tour with us muttering “You should by bong it make good decoration.”
Also Spain and Morocco covered in cats…and im not talking your typical kitty cat, but huge tom cats that literally cover the whole place. But while there are many many cats, no other wild life…suspicious I think so.
Didn't downloada kitty picture :(
We found a dunkin donuts, which is actually a first for Europe. But you weren’t allowed to take pictures of the doughnuts…weird right?
Oh we stayed on the Med. Sea for two nights, so amazing!! Sunset below :) I was standing in the water when i took that picture, and i turned around to run to the beach and managed to step in a 3 foot hole full of sea water -_-" Dont know how i missed it either, it was a really big freaking hole!!
Can’t wait to go home, I miss agility…and we have some very important agility decisions to make when we get back to NJ. Hopefully both turn out good and make 2012 a very interesting year.
