Back in NJ, figured I
should update just in case anybody thought we were still in Europe. Boy oh boy
am I glad to be back! I missed my puppies way too much this trip. But today we
got back in the swing of things with some agility practice! I chose a Mike
Lappin course to prep for Juniors, which is now only twenty days away. I didn’t
set up the whole course, mainly because I am lazy, but also because the opening
and the beginning were pretty strait forward, so I worked on the middle (5-14).
Whimzy got to play too, which was interesting…I still kinda suck at handling
her. I know it doesn’t look as bad as I say, but it’s just awkward. She is so
heads up about where I’m going and pretty fast already, so I don’t know. I
guess it’s just that she isn’t Jenna. Most dogs I run are either like Jenna and
run on feet, or are just good little dogs who follow my hand. And most dogs I
run aren’t monsters that haven’t done anything this past week! Hmm…maybe that
has something to do with it.
Show tomorrow with Jenna at DreamPark, and I also get to run
Nikki the Doberman. Hopefully I can finish up her Novice Jumpers title and get
another Open Standard leg. As for Jenna I just hope I do what I’m supposed to!
Jenna just has to ride in her airport carrier and look cute, the second part
comes naturally to her.
