Glad that July is over it just wasn't my month. We had two weekends filled with seminars to teach and set up for, Jenna got lymes, I got stitches, and I'm sure other suckish stuff happen that I just can't remember. But I guess everyone has to have a bad month sooner or later. August on the other hand is starting pretty well. We showed to day, Jenna got 3/3 Qs (2nd in jumpers, 3rd in standard and 3rd in T2B) I also got to run Oz today...he was fantastic! Went 2/2 both 1st place with no faults in either run. We need one more jumpers leg for his Novice Jumpers Preferred title which i would like to finish up in August but who knows. Also we got our conformation for the AKC Junior Agility Competition that will be held during the Invitational this year. I'm really excited to go down and meet/compete with my fellow juniors. And to also represent the Juniors as being real competitors, not people who should be babied because they are slightly younger.
Update on Whimzy...who is now 8 months and 15 1/2 inches or so. Woohoo glad that when my puppy went over she went way over :) Training wise Whimzy is doing great. Still working on contacts, weaves (not closed yet) , short sequences, and all that other baby dog stuff! Over all I think she is really starting to get it, the little pieces are starting to float into place ya know? Its my favorite thing to see happen while training...seeing that light go on in their heads "Oh okay so I go here, here, and then over there! Gotcha." Whimzy's light has been going off alot this past month which is probably the only good thing about July.
