Failure doesn't Suck.

Being horrible at something, looking like you have no idea what you are doing, messing up over and over again sucks doesn’t it? I mean you would know. Wouldn’t you? You are a failure, and you’ve screwed up a million times, and you should know that you aren’t the best…in fact you are nowhere near it. That’s the thing, you know those people you admire for their skill, their handling, their flawless training, their perfect dogs? They all sucked once too. Isn’t a beautiful thing? If you tally it all up, everyone sucks and always will. No one has a perfect record, no one was always the best, no one has never made a mistake, because no one is perfect at agility.

Failure means possibilities, that there is room for improvement; it means you have places to go, things to learn, people to meet, a journey to take. I am proud to say I truly suck at agility, always have and always will. I am proud to say I fail every time I train at least ten times per session. I am proud to say I make a mistake on 99% of my runs. I am proud to say I’ve trained things wrong, and had to retrain them over and over and over again. I am proud to say that I am not perfect at agility because no one ever will be.

Winners aren't the best, they just embrace their failures better than losers do.
