It's that time again. We all love the day, end of the work week, no worries until Sunday night, perfection in an evening. Parties, plans with friends, well for most people. I'm not going to even pretend I make plans with friends on Friday nights, because well my Friday nights are book solid. After a day of scattered lessons ending when the sun goes down, we manage squeeze an hour of training in with our own dogs after a warm up walk in the woods, then there are crates and fans and blankets and bowls and leashes and coats and shoes and cameras and coolers filled with sliced hot dogs and meatballs, fresh water bottles, lunch, and snacks that all need to be packed in the car for a fun filled 17 hour day at the trial. Yay. Sometimes. Okay most of the time. Okay, I lied, it's always fun.
At least this weekend I have a light load of only 4 dogs to run.
Nikki (24"), Kenzie (20"), Whimzy (16"), and Jenna (12"). Think someone will let me borrow an 8"er so I can complete my collection? Hoping for some QQs tomorrow and Sunday. Jenna needs 2 more for her MACH 3, but is only entered Saturday : / Whimzy, well with her any Q would be nice. No worries I'm backing clear duct tape for myself. Kenzie needs one more Q for her MXJ, and 3 more for Nationals this year. Nikki, oh Nikki. I would really love to figure that dog out. We are gonna try some new tactics this weekend to get her focus, wish us luck. :)
Our most recent (recorded) training session, I adore this song too:
