I know I know I'm a little premature on the whole "it's summer" thing, but well its just too easy to see the green grass, dense forests, and notice the temperature rising every day just a little bit more. Regardless of my timing, I know its summer because not only is school slowly winding down...well more spinning in a fury out of control off a cliff (but hey that's high school right?), but also because I'm getting that urge to go out and set up millions of course and run my heart out. Dead give away its summer. Fall, winter, and spring make me want to run drills, but that wide open perfectly cut lawn always gets me craving full length deadly courses preferably from Europe. Which with us just starting our European Open prep will be not only fulfilled but desperately needed. We sent in our team uniform orders today, can't wait to get the jackets and shirts!! So exciting :)
So with this season ending all I can say is whats around the corner is very exciting and I don't think I have a single regret about this past few months. Good-bye Spring, I'll see you next year at Nationals...hopefully with two dogs ;)
Took this on my run today, this is the woods behind my house. Absolutely gorgeous, year round too!
