Just thinking...

I've walk the halls of this high school too many times to count, and perhaps learned to ignore the people in them. Mostly of which are my age, although I fear we have little else in common. Granted don't most teens claim to be "different" and "special"? So maybe in fact I am less different in that I follow the general process of growth most everyone does. Scientists and other people who have important things to say about my generation seem to always mention that a teenager's world revolves around themselves.  Not the usual self-centeredness type of way, more of a focusing on one's self to find their purpose. And yet people are so annoyed with how selfish teenagers are. If you know we are then why be annoyed, is it not a waste of time to be annoyed anyhow? Don't get me wrong the rudness, mood swings, and hyper activity of my classmates doesn't thrill me any more it does you, but today I realized their actions aren't really worth being irritated over. Now I can use all that extra energy to draw courses and drill sets for whimzy ;)
