Proud mommy!

Whimzy and I ran a test today, before we send out our entries next week. I set up a Scott Chamerlain Novice JWW course in the backyard to see how Whimzy would do....I am so proud to say the only mistake was my fault!!! Turns out Whimzy isn't Jenna, shocker right?! Well apparently I should actually rear cross Whimzy instead on my end run around rearish thingies that I do with Jenna all the time. So we went back and let me re-run the rear cross.

I think Whimzy really will be ready for shows by March, the tenth is her "debut". Although I don't like that term very much, I feel like it adds pressure...which there should be none of when in Novice for the first time. What you get is what you get, and saying "oh this is it, the defining moment....everyone is watching to see if my dog is any good." seems foolish to me. But just in lack of a better word it is her "debut". Either way I am super duper excited to take my baby dog out!!! Haven't been in Novice with a baby dog since Powell <3 As much fun as novice is, I'm hoping my appearances in that class will be few...moving on to Open and then Excellent by the summer would be nice, but no pressure Whimzy ;) In the end its all about fun anyway right??!!?!
