What an incredible last week before the invitational…Wow is
all I can really say. All the dogs have been super amazing this past week,
Nikki, Zade, and Flyer (border collie I’ve been helping to run this month). And
of course my two just seem awe-inspiring to me pretty much every day. Although I
have to say the little one (in age not size!) has come a long way in a short
amount of time. We started training actual weaves, instead of just entries, this
weekend…Whimzy can now weave twelve poles. About ten minutes ago, I got all
twelve in sequence! Oh and her dogwalks and teeters have been phenomenal, haven’t
sent her over the full height a-frame yet. It just seems like a lot of pounding
on her young joints, so it will probably be the last thing I train.
Jenna hasn’t really been training a whole lot, just skill
drills to keep everything sharp. Her zones have been looking really nice…even
though I just switched to “running” a week ago. So hopefully I haven’ fried her
brains and we will get some nice zones on Friday. If not the I guess ahh well,
looking at the big picture bad zones one day doesn’t seem like the end of the
world.

Always with the tongue... :P
See you in Orlando ;)
