The Pursuit of Perfection.

Success (noun):  the accomplishments of one’s goals

That’s the definition of success, it is simple.  What you put into it is complex.

Goal (noun):  the result or achievement toward which effort is directed

Where you direct your effort defines your success. Each goal is a step towards success; a step in the right direction, a step full of effort, a step that moves you forward. Success isn't about when, it’s about what. What are you aiming for? What do you want to accomplish? What is your success?

“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence,” -Vince Lombardi

For me, success is the pursuit of perfection. I will never reach it, but that is the beautiful thing about perfection. It doesn't exist. Aiming for imaginary; I could never come up with a better dream if I spent all my life dreaming of one. Perfection is whatever I imagine it to be, I know that it will always change. But so will I. I know that it will always get harder to reach. But I will in turn always push harder to reach it. I know that I won’t ever attain it. But I know that trying to will only make me the best that I can be.

" Achievement is largely the product of raising one's level. "
