So once again I'm going to gush over how much I adore this dog, Whimzy really is like amazing. Sometimes I can't even find the words to describe how impressed I am by her everyday. She has always been like a sponge soaking up information and learning things super fast. But never before did I picture her being this much fun to run and this just awesome. Okay so gush session over.
While I'm super thrilled with where Mz is now, we still have a lot of work to do before Junior Nationals and Tryouts next year. Yes I plan on taking Whimzy to the 2013 AKC World Team Tryouts. Do I feel like I am pushing her? Nope not in the slightest, which is the only reason I'm comfortable with taking her to such a high level competition. But regardless, of what events we are looking forward to in the up coming year, we have some serious skills to build in. 90 degree weave entries, check, but can I rear cross them? Nope, defiantly a must have. I can rear the aframe and dogwalk, but still need the teeter. Just a few simple examples of the things we will be adding to her skill base this fall and winter. Super excited to see what this dog looks like in 6 months. My bet is she will still be amazing to me, no matter what :)
