Beyond happy with today. Jenna got another double Q, I have
no idea how many more to MACH 3 but I’ll let you know when we are closer. I
made her wide in jumpers, I think we could have broke 27 seconds. As for
standard…um…wow, I was so pleased with her zones. Feel like this was the “ah-ha”
moment for her in the ring. She really understood what I was asking for and I felt
like she wasn’t stressing so much. Granted they aren’t amazingly fast zones
yet, but no creep, no jump, in the zone without any real hesitation is good for
me. We hit 4.18 yps, which is a pretty good score for her. Considering she is nowhere
near peaked I think this season is going to be a fast one ;) Demon worked great
for me, no complaints! I screwed up his standard run, the bar was SO my fault…but
live and learn. As for Nikki, not bad not bad. I felt like I worked a lot, she
was alittle spacey but two Qs for her today. Next show she can finish up both
her open titles and then we will be in …excellent…I know it scares me too!
In other news, Junior USA EOJ Team, is pretty much official. We
have Chris Ott(Parker) as our coach and I am incredibly excited to be working
with such an amazing trainer/competitor. This should be an exciting journey,
even with all that still needs to be done in the end this will be an unforgettable
experience for all of us. Hoping for
this to be not only the launch of our international careers, but a way to learn
how to set an image as a professional. Keep reminding myself, us being a new
team and all along with support there are doubters,
“There are so many people out there who will tell
you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say ‘watch me.’”
