Great weekend at the show, especially in jumpers with Jenna. Not only did we win both classes, but Jenna and I also got our high score yps wise on sunday. 5.94, our previous was 5.82, i think we could have hit 6+ if i had pushed the opening just a little more. I really love the feeling of breaking a personal record, and very glad to see that my baby really has been speeding up, I think out of our last 5 jumpers runs 4/5 have been over 5.7 yps, and the one that was slower was our MACH run so i was being pretty careful plus Jenna slipped during that run. Can't wait for our peak this late fall and winter, it should be interesting to see what times we can set! I'll also be changing our yps goal from a consistent 5.7 to having consistent 5.8 i think, we can try that for a while and bump it up when needed.
I also ran a yorkie, a westie, and a collie, all of which were at risk of leaving the ring :P but all stayed, so that was a plus! No Qs with them though, which was a bumber but got good things out of all of them. I'll be running Ori, the collie, again in 3 weeks. She would have been fine except she was alittle worried about the judge who was wearing a hat and a very large coat, and of course when we are worried about strange men in hats its impossible to jump, therefore Ori went around 1 to many. Hopefully next time i can get a Q on her.
By the way Flint is still missing please keep and eye out for him if you live in the Bridgewater, Bedminster, or Lamington, New Jersey areas. This is the biggest search effort I have ever seen for a dog...flyers are posted everywhere in those areas, people from the dog community are patroling the areas none stop looking for him, he has his own facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/FIND-LOST-DOG-Flint/269753523057852 ) and there will be a message broadcasted about him tomorrow on the radio. I just hope he gets home safe!
