A Worlds Wish List.

So like every other avid agility fanatic, I'm pushing the boundaries on sleep deprivation for this special time of year. World. FCI Worlds. Not only do I find it one hundred percent necessary to root for and support the AKC's USA Agility, but it is also fascinating.  34 countries, hundreds of handlers, hundreds of dogs. The courses, the challenges, the awe-inspiring solutions and saves. How can you not watch?

I've been watching FCI WC since 2001, I was 6. VHS Tapes <3  Not the point, but one thing that has always amazed me is the evolution of handling. If you were to go back and watch those early 2000 worlds, the handling and competition is one tenth of what it is now. Ten years ago you would have never seen the intricate arm movements, the fluid blinds, or the wicked tight turns cause by just a flick of a wrist. So with that being said, I like to look at the next 10 years. Where is the sport going? What skills do you NEED to win? Hence my wish list, I jot down all those fancy handling moves that seem to make the courses effortless and well from there its up to me to get them. So let's just say Whimzy is going to be training lots of international skills this month.
