Nikki AX and AXJ in the same day. She went 3/4 this weekend, honestly I'm thrilled!! She looked great. Its amazing how after about a month of just picking little things to work in the ring we managed to put it all together for a great weekend. Just goes to show that sometimes NQ-ing is more valuable then Q-ing. With an NQ you have something specific you need to train, a new skill to develop, and a goal for your next run. Goal for Nikki this weekend was getting all her weaves on the first try, which she did 4/4 times. The titles and ribbons were just icing on the cake!
Whimzy, well I didn't have a skills goal for Whimzy this weekend. Which explains why our runs were so out of sync almost. But we did accomplish something regardless, her first Excellent Q * wipes tear from eye* my baby dog is getting all growed up. Our open Jumpers runs were nice too, disappointing to have only one fatal fault in each though.
Jenna was her awesome self this weekend. My goal was to have fun, we achieved it quite effortlessly. She won Saturday Jumpers and got second in Saturday Standard. She placed in STANDARD. With a 4.3 yps, on a not so flowy course. She had fun too, which was a given it is agility.
Ori, well now Saturday was a shocker. She took jumps, and did the weaves, and like *ran*. Unfortunately Sunday the loud speakers went off during her run and she completely shut down. *sigh* maybe next time girly.
